Yoga Workshops and Events

All Workshops are led by Cindy Boulter, BSc., ERYT 500, ACE.  Each program is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities.  Yoga mat and water are recommended.  Members and Non-Members are welcomed to register for any of these events.

Yoga Workshop: Happy, Healthy Shoulders

In this 2 hour workshop, we will explore shoulder anatomy and function. We will experience how to improve shoulder mobility and strengthen muscles around the shoulder girdle. Learn how to use your yoga practice to create balanced joint space and freedom of movement as we dive into postures that are affected by your shoulders.  Register Now

Cindy Boulter, BSc., ERYT 500, ACE

Cindy is committed to being a life-long student of yoga and is a seeker of knowledge with over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry as an instructor and international presenter, and over 13 years experience teaching yoga and training yoga teachers. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, and has studied extensively with numerous teachers, completing over 1500 hours of training. Her studies include Yoga Therapeutics with Dr. Bo Forbes, Yin Yoga and Meditation with Sarah Powers, Anatomy and Fascia with Tom Myers, Anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff and Amy Mathews as well as in depth trainings with Theresa Murphy, Rolf Gates, Ana Forrest, Baron Baptiste and Shiva Rae.

Cindy’s seminars and workshops on making the most of life through communication, yoga and fitness have been presented throughout Canada, the US and Japan. Locally, she has assisted and taught classes at Kripalu for Bo's sessions on Yoga for Anxiety and Depression and she has taught 4 years of 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings.

Cindy's classes are a blend of smooth flowing movement with strength and stillness; each class being unique and designed to create a deeper understanding of ourselves and how we align in our bodies and in the world. She believes in practicing with a sense of humor, self -compassion and curiosity.
